Before you pay
Confirm that the receiving organisation accepts a private English typing skills certificate from SpeedKey Certifications. The assessment fee is INR 275. Free practice does not issue a certificate.
Register and verify
Use the code in your delivery PDF and the purchase email. Enter the certificate name, purchase date, mobile and payment reference, then confirm your details and privacy consent. A separate six-digit email OTP expires after 10 minutes. Optional profile information is used privately.
Test format
The standard English assessment runs for 60 seconds. The timer starts after you press Start assessment. Type yourself using a physical keyboard. Ordinary paste and drop are blocked. Finish at the end of the timer or submit after at least five seconds; the certificate records the actual duration. An early result may require a new full-length test after staff review. This is not a proctored identity examination.
Scoring
Correct-character WPM = correct characters / 5 / elapsed minutes. Accuracy = correct matches / typed characters × 100. Comparison is by character position, so punctuation, spacing and an inserted or missing character affect later matches. Results are calculated on the server. No undisclosed minimum pass score applies by default; staff review integrity and completion.
Issue and retakes
One reviewed certificate is supplied per purchase. Staff verify the payment and result. We aim to review within three working days and issue within two working days after approval. If a technical interruption or incomplete test requires retry, staff may authorise one replacement attempt without another charge. Repeating practice is free. A second paid test after issue needs a new purchase.
Corrections and support
Check the certificate name before submitting. Email contact@typingtestaward.com with the reference for correction, delivery or retry help. Do not send your OTP or redistribute the product access code.
